Scripto Re-Brand

A few years ago, National Stationery bought the licencing rights to a company called Scripto.
When we did so, the company felt that the branding was very antiquated and did not fit with the quality of the our company, they felt the products required a re-brand in order to fit in with the direction that the company wanted to take with that line of products.

 

The directors took the decision let myself & my co-worker have free reign in the re-branding, which is a daunting but very exciting position to be in. Not only did we (myself & my co-worker) come up with a  whole new look that would help people strongly identify our product in the retail market place, we then had to apply it to the 100+ products that we carried under that brand and ensure that there was cohesion throughout the entire line, this included the newly created Prime and IT products.

We were very successful with the concept that we came up with, as the sales of the existing line of products increased by 46% in the first 12 months of the newly re-branded products being distributed to our various customers across Southern Africa.
